GiiNii Introduces New 8-Inch Multimedia Digital Picture Frame Priced Below $90
GiiNii International introduced its new 8-inch multimedia digital picture frame. It’s loaded with features that make it easy to use, including simple controls, intuitive Flash-animated menu icons and a straightforward photo management system for sorting and organizing pictures.
“The new 8-inch multimedia digital picture frame was specifically designed to be easy to use and provides an all-in-one user experience,” said GiiNii Chief Marketing Officer Dennis Sones. “For the first time, digital picture frames are self-contained and easy to use. Every new GiiNii digital picture frame can replay and store photos. Plus, users can organize their photos right on the picture frame and create custom photo albums using a soft keyboard that is part of the frame. They don’t need to go to a computer to create custom albums or to organize hundreds, or even thousands, of photos.

“What’s more, these new true multimedia units are capable of playing a broad array of videos, including MPEG-4 and H.264. And, we’ve improved how people interact with the frame in three new ways: with an innovative scroll wheel on the back; with a Flash-animated menu; and with a straightforward file management system. With all these features, this frame is a huge step forward in making it easy for everyone to enjoy their digital photos and videos,” said Sones.
The unit’s 800 x 600 resolution, 8-inch backlit LED screen is viewable from the widest possible angle, and with 2 GB of memory, the frame can store up to 10,000 digital pictures. A true multimedia digital picture frame, the new GiiNii 8-inch frame also lets users play videos shot on digital cameras and camcorders. In fact, consumers can just plug in a Flip camcorder into the USB port on the picture frame and instantly replay videos.
At the center of the multimedia frame’s feature set is an innovative scroll wheel, located on the back of the unit, that lets users navigate simply through a small number of logical, easy-to-understand, Flash-animated menu icons.
A true multimedia digital picture frame, the new GiiNii 8-inch frame also lets users play videos shot on digital cameras and camcorders.
Also making it incredibly easy to use is a unique photo management system. The GiiNii EZ Navigation System lets users segment and organize their photos using the picture frame itself (no computer required) via preset or custom albums. Albums can be created and named directly on the unit so users can quickly find and display specific photos.
Designed to make photos the center of attention, the digital picture frame is available in two models: the Artforme comes with a beautifully crafted solid-wood frame; the Tech version sports a glossy, black finish. The Artforme also includes two interchangeable mats to complement any décor, and swapping the mats is easy with GiiNii’s EZ Release locking system on the back of the frame.
