New GiiNii Magic 10.1" Wi-Fi Tablet Digital Picture Frame

GiiNii International introduced Magic, its next-generation digital picture frame. The multimedia unit is loaded with features that make it fun and easy to use, including Wi-Fi, a full touchscreen, preinstalled Web applications and RSS feeds, and battery operation. In addition, it offers the easiest way to receive photos from friends and family: via existing e-mail accounts.

“The new Magic digital picture frame’s Wi-Fi and POP3 capability make it very easy for users to send and share digital pictures via existing e-mail accounts and to access photo-sharing websites,” said GiiNii Chief Marketing Officer Dennis Sones. “Plus, it’s so simple to use that everyone can easily enjoy their digital photos and videos.”

Magic has 802.11bgn Wi-Fi connectivity with easy log-in, and it’s RSS feed-enabled for continuously updated weather, sports, news and traffic reports. Preloaded Web applications include YouTube, Facebook, Flickr, Picasa, SHOUTcast and Google Calendar.

The 10.1-inch backlit LED screen is a full touchscreen with 1024 x 576 resolution and a striking, piano-black, high-gloss frame. With 2 GB of memory, it can store up to 10,000 digital pictures. A true multimedia digital picture frame, the new GiiNii Magic also lets users plays videos shot on digital cameras and camcorders.

Battery operated, the lightweight unit charges via a charging cradle, and it’s portable (runs on a lithium ion battery) and Wi-Fi—enabled, so it can be taken from room to room within a home for seeing real-time traffic, weather, sports and news updates. “This is perfect for getting ready for work in the morning,” said Sones.

The GiiNii Magic portable Wi-Fi tablet digital picture frame (model GW-ADWM) will be available in September at select retailers across the country and through online stores. It will have an MSRP of $199.99. Toll-free, U.S.-based customer support is available seven days a week.
